The safety of our patients, their families and our team are of the utmost importance to us at Skin Solutions Dermatology. During this difficult time, we are dedicated to safely bringing you dermatological care . We now offer Televisit appointments for patients who are sick or would prefer to remain at home.  You can begin scheduling today by calling one of our 8 locations. Our offices will remain open for patients who are well and feel comfortable attending their appointment.  Our providers and staff members are taking the following precautions to prevent the spread of Covid-19:



  • Pre-Screening Patients Prior to Arrival 
    • Our staff is rescheduling any patients with symptoms of Covid-19 before they arrive to the office to ensure safety of staff and other patients.
    • We are asking patients to take their temperature at home prior to their appointment. If it is over 99 degrees Fahrenheit, we can change the visit to a Televisit or reschedule your appointment for 2 after your symptoms have stopped. 
    • Upon arrival in our office, we have asked patients to please sanitize their hands with the hand sanitizer at the front desk.
    • Per CDC recommendations, we encourage all patients to wear a mask to their appointment. We are offering masks to every patient if they do not have one to wear during their appointment.
  • Screening our Employee
    • All employees are required to take their temperature prior to arriving at the office and are not permitted to work if they are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms.
    • All employees are required to wear masks.


  • We are adhering to strict cleaning policies per CDC guidelines.
  • We are sanitizing every room thoroughly prior to and following each patient.
  • We are cleaning all other non-patient surfaces in the office hourly.
  • We are limiting patient contact by having nurses input all kiosk information for each patient. Patients will not sign in using our normal tablets.
  • To limit exchange of paper goods, visit summaries and any follow-up appointment details are published directly to the patient's portal for review.


  • Televisits 
    • For the protection of our patients and our team, we are encouraging televisits when possible to reduce in-office patient volume.  Televisits can be accessed by  visiting your Patient Portal. You can access your portal through the following:
      • Using the Healow app on your tablet OR smartphone.
      • Directly through the Healow site.
      • Televisits are also available to be performed using FaceTime.
  • Limiting Patient Volume
    • Allows staff to sanitize patient rooms before each appointment.
    • Ideally, only one patient will be in the office at a time.
  • Closed Waiting Rooms 
    • When patients arrive they are taken directly to a patient room. If a patient room is still being sanitized or currently occupied, patients will be asked to wait in their car until a room becomes available.
    • Unless the patient is under the age of 18, we are asking patients to come alone or have any escorts wait in the car.
    • Providers and staff are social distancing between themselves unless closer exam is required.
