Hunter Day attended Westminster College, where she earned a Bachelors of Arts in Biology and Psychology. She then went on to attend Saint Louis University for her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Following graduation she was accepted into Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Nurse Residency Program. After 3.5 years at Vanderbilt, Hunter went on to work all over the country as a travel and critical response nurse. After meeting her husband in Denver, CO she stayed in Colorado to pursue a graduate degree from the University of Colorado.

She is a certified Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Her focus is on the care and treatment of those in young adulthood to end of life.

As a native of Memphis, Tennessee, she is happy to have made her home back in the south with her husband and daughter. In her free time she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
