Carrie Byrd, NP

Carrie graduated from Union University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and began her career as a Registered Nurse at Vanderbilt Medical Center. After working four years as a Registered Nurse at Vanderbilt, Carrie attained her Master’s Degree of Science in Nursing from Frontier University. Carrie then embarked on her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care, in Columbia, Tennessee. After four years of Primary Care, Carrie joined the Skin Solutions Dermatology team, which enabled her to focus on her main field of interest. While Carrie loved working with the wide array of patients in Primary Care, she found that being able to focus on dermatology enabled her to expand her skillset in an area that had always truly fascinated her.

When Carrie is not seeing patients, she loves spending time with her husband, being outdoors, and can often be found on the lake!
